I have said it before, and I will say it again – I am not surprised, but I continue to be amazed at Colin’s progress and tenacity. He is just determined to make the best of the situation, and find alternative ways to do what he wants to be able to do.
In the mornings, using the table I made for him, he performs his morning routine of brushing his teeth, washing his face, shaving, and brushing his hair. This increased arm movement and strength has sort of suddenly come in the last 3 to 4 weeks, and Colin seems to have made another quantum leap forward in independence. I am so proud of him. While it seems silly or insincere, I am genuinely impressed and proud and in absolute awe of him. He never complains, never bemoans hit lot, and just gets on with it. Every day I give thanks for him, and for his wonderful attitude. My special Colin. Here’s to so many more wins in the new year. XxX
