Sorry I have not posted for a while – it has been a very busy time with all sorts of personal and family issues. But all is well, and we are back to normal now.
Colin loves to swim, as you know, and he was really wanting to swim lately. It has been very hot and muggy and today was the perfect weather to take a dip.
Here he is sitting on the step enjoying the cool of the water.

As you can see, I have not had a chance to sweep the steps but it is all good. I will get to that soon. ha ha
Colin’s feet want to float up all the time, so we have to sort of push them down so he can sit. Once they are down, he is able to maintain them there with minimal effort.
We have discovered that the home-made hoist is not perfect, and there are a few tweaks we need to make. It needs to lift him at least 10 to 15 centimeters higher, and perhaps the pulling back thing could be easier (it needs to drop him in order to have slack to pull in).
