During the week, when Jabu gets COlin out of bed, the dogs wait outside the room for him to appear. Every day. Jinxie runs backward leading him to the treats, barking along the way to make he doesn’t forget.
In this video, you can see how Colin is able to use both arms, and how much his hands allow him to do. You can also see how he sort of has to pull his hand open on the chair arm to get his fingers to release. He has learned many tricks and has worked very hard to get as much function as he has. He has worked very hard for this win.
It is now 2 years and 5 months after the accident. Life is good.
